CAS Spring Awards Reception May 8

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) will host its annual spring awards reception Friday, May 8 beginning at 4 p.m. in the University Union Lamoine Room.
Awards presentations and recognitions will begin at 4:45 p.m. Awards will be presented to outstanding faculty and four retiring faculty members: David Helm and Joe Moulden, mathematics instructors; Nancy Krey, English instructor; and Dan Wise, CAS associate dean and geography professor. The Student Council Honorary and the Student Council Departmental Organization also will receive recognition.
The spring awards reception is also the last such event for Dean Inessa Levi, who is leaving Western Illinois to become Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA.
Music will be provided by "The Endnotes."
