Repeated Course Limits

Federal regulations changed financial aid eligibility for repeated coursework. Courses eligible for financial aid include:

  1. A course taken for the first time.
  2. A course taken again after failing or withdrawing from it.
  3. A course retaken after passing it once - includes courses transferred from another school.

Courses NOT eligible for financial aid include:

  1. Any course retaken a second time (with a grade) after passing it once - includes courses transferred from another school

It is recommended that you work closely with your academic advisor and your financial aid advisor if you plan to retake a course for a better grade.
