Caitlyn Fink, Graduate Assistant

picture of Caitlyn FinkCaitlyn Fink is in her first year as a Graduate Assistant with the WIU Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and is pursuing a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.  She graduated in 2015 from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders. While an undergrad at WIU she was a student worker for the Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality, was the Vice-President of WIU Student-Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and a team captain for WIU’s Dance Marathon.


Caitlyn joined the Department of C&I in August of 2015 and works with several professors including Dr. Jones, Dr. Stinnett, and Dr. Ortmann. Caitlyn works with these professors on research as well as helping with classroom organization.


Caitlyn is from Carthage, IL where she graduated from Illini West High School in 2011.  After WIU, she plans to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in hospitals and schools, in order to gain as much experience in her field as possible. Caitlyn is excited to work in a field where she can help people of all ages and make everyone feel important and included.
