Curriculum Vitae »

Graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia with a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology: Statistics and Measurement, I joined the Educational Leadership Department in 2007. I teach Quantitative Methods in Educational Leadership and provides dissertation research support for doctoral students. I also work with faculty members in the College of Education and Human Services, providing research design and data analysis support.

I have a great interest in applying quantitative methods to educational issues. I have worked on several dropout studies investigating school-level variables that influence high school dropout rates. I am also interested in research on English language learners and have studied motivational constructs that underlie the English writing proficiency of English language learners in postsecondary school settings.   I am interested in test equating and test validation in the area of educational measurement.
