Community Art Program

The Community Art Program is a grant funded series of Art Classes designed by WIU Art Teacher Education students for 1 st to 8 th graders from local schools.

This program not only offers much needed creative experiences for local youth, it also provides an educational opportunity for Art Teacher Education students to enhance their teaching skills and grow both personally and professionally.

The Community Art Program is held on specified Sundays for 4-6 weeks each academic semester.
