BFA in Art - Graphic Design

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Art - Graphic Design option is the degree for the design professional and provides an in-depth, comprehensive, and structured background in graphic design. Graphic Design is medium involving the combination of art and technology. Students will explore how to reach audiences through the visual communication of information and ideas with a focus on aesthetic considerations, problem solving, presentation, craftsmanship, and computer skills. Students from this program are required to complete a senior portfolio and will graduate with a well-defined professional portfolio website.

The BFA in Art - Graphic Design does not require a portfolio for admission into the program. Students will be accepted to WIU as a BFA Art - Graphic Design major.
