Welcome to Educational and Interdisciplinary Studies
Located within the College of Education and Human Services, the Educational and Interdisciplinary Studies department offers an undergraduate program in Bilingual / Bicultural Education (English as a Second Language program and pre-service education) as well as graduate degrees in three areas: Master of Science in Education (Adult Education, Bilingual/ESL, and General Studies), Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary Education), and College Student Personnel. The EIS department, located in Horrabin Hall Room 115, is chaired by Dr. Reinhard Lindner. His expertise lies in Educational Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods. He is supported by a capable and diverse group of faculty whose expertise ranges from philosophy of education, to multicultural/bilingual studies, to college student personnel.
