Western Illinois University (WIU) offers many exciting programs and opportunities for international students, no matter where they call home. Whether students want to attend school in the United States for a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, or intensive English Language instruction, Western Illinois University has accredited academic programs, cultural opportunities, and the student support needed to help them be successful in reaching their education goals. 

INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT REPRESENTATIVES

Western Illinois University (WIU) works with a number of international recruitment representatives who offer assistance and counseling to prospective students and their families.  All recruitment representatives receive training about the University and on admission procedures, course offerings and on-campus student support services.

Western Illinois University values the services our recruitment representatives provide to prospective international students and respects their time and efforts. Recruitment representatives are required to have certification through the American International Education Administrators (AIRC) or the International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF) and to follow best practice guidelines set forth by AIRC. WIU also refers to guidelines for international student recruitment set forth by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
