Persistent Links - ProQuest

How To create persistent links to articles in ProQuest:

1. Connect to a ProQuest database through the library website
2. Find an article citation and copy its Persistent Link
3. Use the Link Converter to make the Persistent Link accessible to all WIU users:
• Example: https://ezproxy.wiu.edu/login?url=http://proquest.umi.com/pqdweb? RQT=309&VInst=PROD&VName=PQD&VType=PQD&sid=2&index=14& SrchMode=1&Fmt=3&did=000000729317621&clientId=3480
4. Test! Copy/paste the new link into your browser address bar to make sure it works (remove any spaces in the URL).
