Student Learning Outcomes

Chemistry  (M.S.)

 

Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:

  1. demonstrate a basic knowledge of concepts and theories of the field (analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, organic, or physical chemistry); demonstrate a command of scholarly style; and develop ability to define research objectives effectively
  2. demonstrate ability to perform a study with appropriate analytical methods/tools, develop skills for independent research; demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively; and demonstrate ability to teach and/or support undergraduate instruction.
