Communicating with Chatbots

Description:

 

Participants in this study will be asked to interact with an AI chatbot for 5 days. They will
complete a survey both before and after chatbot interaction.

 

Phases (if applicable): N/A

 

Duration:

 

Participation will span 5 days. Each day, participants will be asked to spend 10 minutes
speaking to the chatbot. Surveys will be distributed both before and after chatbot
interaction, which should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Consult instructor for extra credit available.

 

Number of Participants: Up to 200

Start Date: Access to Survey 1 is available immediately. Access to the chatbot will be made
available at the end of the survey.

 

End Date: Survey 2 will be emailed to participants 5 days after submission of Survey 1. Access to
the chatbot will be ended May 2026.

 

Survey 1 is available anytime until May 2026.
Survey 2 will be available May 2026.
