Youth Performing Arts Series (YPAS)

Bringing the performing arts to K–8 students—free of charge! YPAS provides free live performing arts experiences for K–8 students on the WIU campus, with PAS supporting performances and transportation. Each year, more than 6,000 students experience the arts, with over 200,000 students reached since 1984.

The WIU Community Music School

The WIU Community Music School provides accessible, high-quality music education and performance opportunities for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Its mission is to strengthen the community through music, encourage meaningful musical expression, and promote personal enrichment and cultural growth throughout the Western Illinois region.

SummerStage

SummerStage continues WIU's summer theatre tradition by bringing together professional artists, students, and community members to create engaging productions, build performance skills, and celebrate the performing arts.

Grants for K–12 Schools and the Macomb Community

WIU Arts Grants help fund many on-campus concerts and programs throughout the academic year.

The PAS K–12 Arts Grant strengthens arts education in McDonough County schools by supporting performing arts programs, student development, and travel to regional and national performance opportunities—helping students grow while highlighting the value of the arts.
