Annual RTAC Conference in Springfield April 3-4

The annual Illinois Rural Transit Assistance Center Conference (RTAC) will be held Tuesday, April 3 and Wednesday April 4, at the Northfield Center in Springfield.

Highlighting the conference will be a presentation April 3 on the U.S. Department of Transportation’s rules on drug and alcohol testing procedures. Another key event is the Illinois Public Transportation (IPTA) legislative breakfast Wednesday, April 4. IPTA members and invited guests will meet with elected officials from across the state to discuss issues facing Illinois public transportation.

To register for the conference, contact RTAC at 800/526-9943 or e-mail rtac@wiu.edu. There is no registration fee, but reservations are required. Conference registration deadline is Tuesday, March 20.
