Study Abroad Fair Sept. 10

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Office of Study Abroad will hold its annual Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 in the University Union Grand Ballroom.

With more than 60 countries to choose from and various program lengths, there are numerous options for students who are interested in studying abroad. Several WIU faculty members and representatives from areas on and off campus will be available to answer questions and give information about their programs, including WIU's scholarship office, Phi Beta Delta, Centennial Honors College and Phi Kappa Phi, as well as off campus organizations including James Cook University, Queen's University, CEA Study Abroad, Barcelona SAE, Edge Hill University, IFSA-Butler University, AIFS Study Abroad and International Studies Abroad (ISA). There will also be faculty-led programs, which include the WIU foreign language program; schools of Nursing and Agriculture and the departments of educational and interdisciplinary studies; management and marketing; communication; recreation, park and tourism administration; English; anthropology; elementary education; dietetics, fashion merchandising and hospitality; history; African American studies; business and technology and economics.

The Study Abroad Fair is open free to the public; students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.
