Western Illinois University Break Schedule

MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois University's Macomb and Quad Cities campuses will observe winter break with holiday and administrative closure Wednesday, Dec. 24-Thursday, Jan. 1.

Spring semester classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 20, and all residence halls reopen at noon on Sunday, Jan. 18. Students who have met with their advisers can continue to register for classes through STARS during the University closure.

The Leslie F. Malpass Library has winter break hours listed for the WIU-Macomb and WIU-Quad Cities libraries at wiu.edu/libraries/info/hours.

Go West
Go West routes will operate on a modified break schedule from Saturday, Dec. 20 – Saturday, Jan. 17, except for Sunday, Dec. 21, Dec. 28, Jan. 4 and Jan. 11 and Thursday, Jan. 1, when no services will be available. Go West schedules are available online at wiu.edu/student_services/go_west/calendar.php.
