WIU-Macomb, Quad Cities Campuses Closed Nov. 26

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL -- The Western Illinois University-Macomb and -Quad Cities campuses will be closed Monday, Nov. 26 due to the severe winter weather impacting the region. All classes and events scheduled at both campuses are canceled. Unless otherwise posted, the WIU-Macomb and -Quad Cities campuses will re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27.

When the University is shut down, employees will be dismissed from and paid for their regular working shift. Employees working in essential positions may be required to work their regular hours during a total shutdown. Essential versus nonessential employees will be determined by the supervisor and will depend on the nature of the advisory situation.
