Employee Wellness Health MegaFair Feb. 27

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University employees are invited to visit the Employee Wellness Health MegaFair from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 in the University Union Heritage Room.

Dr. Brad Nieder, known as the healthy humorist, will present a keynote address at 4 p.m. He is a doctor, speaker and comedian, who delivers his unique brand of healthcare humor around the country at various events.

Employees will have the opportunity to learn how their hearts work from the inside out with a walk through a giant inflatable heart. Healthcare professionals will be present to discuss the inner workings of the heart with visitors as they walk through and learn about cardiovascular functions.

Vendors will include Aetna, BlueAdvantage HMO, CVS/caremark, Health Alliance, HealthLink, HMO Illinois, Humana, United Healthycare, ConnectYourCare, Delta Dental of Illinois, EyeMed, Magellan Health and Securian Financial, as well as speaker Jim Farrell from higi.
