UUB Officers Named

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's student-run University Union Board (UUB) through the Office of Student Activities recently held elections for 2003-04 officers.
UUB, the largest student programming organization on campus, offers cultural events, educational programs and popular entertainment for Western's student and community members.
Jacob Hoberg, a sophomore physics major from Mason City, was named UUB president. Sophomore finance major Andy Mullen from Peoria will serve as vice president, and sophomore elementary education major Kelle Henning from Waukegan will be secretary.
Officers in charge of special areas and events include, by hometown:
BREESE [62230] - - Josh Fields, a freshman law enforcement and justice administration major, concert productions.
CHICAGO
[60638] - - Matt Shares, 5100 block of S. Newland Ave., a sophomore law enforcement and justice administration major, late night programming.
[60618] - - Pete Johnson, 4100 block of N. Harding Ave., a sophomore recreation, park and tourism administration major, special events.
DOWNERS GROVE [60515] - - Michael Gianatasio, a junior broadcasting major, comedy mainstage.
NORTH CHICAGO (60064) - - Scott DeHaan, a sophomore broadcasting major, marketing and promotions.
MASON CITY (62664) - - Doug Meyer, a freshman general orientation major, cinema showcase.
ORLAND PARK [60462] - - Bill Duggan, a senior finance and Spanish major, Family Weekend.
ROCKFORD [61107] - - Angie Wight, a sophomore individual studies major, Homecoming
VERNON HILLS [60061] - - Jamie Paha, a junior community health major, coffeehouse.
