MACOMB/MOLINE, IL — Western Illinois University Accountancy major and Zeta Beta Chapter member Lauren Hall recently joined and participated among the 1,000 alumni of Project Run With It (PRWI).

PRWI is an annual competition for members of the International Honor Organization for Financial Information Students and Professionals, Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), designed to further community service through the chapter and provide students with the opportunity to engage in real-world consulting projects.

PRWI recently hosted its 18th year, PRWI 2022, which included 45 BAP student representatives who worked together to develop solutions to real-life business problems for the not-for-profit organization, The Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA).

The competition consisted of each student representative participating through teams. Each team was given one and a half business days to develop a formal presentation showcasing their solution to different business issues presented by ALPFA. The teams presented their findings and solutions to a panel of judges composed of BAP faculty members, not-for-profit leadership members and partners of the competition's sponsor, Moss Adams.

"Due to the competitive nature of each student, every year is a success," said BAP PPWI Samantha Falgout. "The PRWI team along with Moss Adams and Beta Alpha Psi look forward to our next competition in August 2023 in Las Vegas, NV."
