WIU School of LEJA Hosting Annual Open House Oct. 25

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration will host its annual open house for high school students interested in careers in criminal justice, emergency management and fire science from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25.

The event is an opportunity for high school students to explore demonstrations of the academic offerings available in LEJA at WIU.

The event is open free to any high school student and features more than 10 law enforcement-related demonstrations, including blood spatter analysis, canine investigations, search and rescue, live burn patterns, paramedic and EMT demonstrations, drone demonstrations and crime scene investigations.
