WIU Finance Professor Featured in WalletHub Article

Macomb, IL – Western Illinois University Associate Professor of Finance Stephen Gray was recently featured in an article from WalletHub about credit cards for young adults.

The article, "Best Credit Cards for Young Adults" by John Kiernan compares credit cards and determines the best option for young adults.

The article section titled "Ask the Experts" features advice from Gray.

"Having a credit card can be an advantage for all young adults - even if they do not see an immediate need. Initially, using a credit card can help a young adult learn how to manage their personal finances, assist them in building a credit history - and corresponding credit score, and provide protection from credit card fraud. From a longer-term perspective, a credit card can serve as an emergency fund when unexpected expenses arise," Gray said.

Gray believes comparing different credit cards and choosing the right one for young adults is massively important.
