Organ and Piano Duet Program Being Held May 18

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University chapter of the American Guild of Organists will hold a program of organ and piano duets at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at the First Presbyterian Church in Macomb.

The program will feature organists Linda Andrews and Barb Gossett and pianists Joanie Herbert, Sheila Nollen and Jeanne Stierman.

This performance is free and open to the public.

The program will include:

All Hail the Power (with Trumpet Voluntary by Purcell) - Arr. Linda McKechnie

It is Well with My Soul - arr. Deborah Govenor
All Creatures of Our God and King - arr. Governor
A Gospel Prelude - arr. Charles Callahan

Chorale from Finlandia - Jean Sibelius, arr. Martha Powell Setchell
- Performed by Gossett and Herbert

Three Festive Hymn Arrangements - arr. Mark Hayes and Markvin Gaspard
Dona Nobis Pacem - arr. Ellen Foncannon
- Performed by Andrews and Nollen

Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah - George Frideric Handel, arr. Mark Thewes
