Multicultural Center to Host Spring Open House Thursday

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Multicultural Center (MCC) invites the campus community to kick off the spring semester by attending its Spring Open House from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Multicultural Center.
The Spring Open House is an opportunity for students to learn more about the MCC and its centers, including the Casa Latina Cultural Center, Women's Center, Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center and LGBT*QA Resource Center. Attendees can meet members of MCC student organizations, explore involvement opportunities and learn about resources available to support student success and belonging.
The event will feature music, games, refreshments and prizes, creating a welcoming and engaging space for students to connect with one another and the MCC community. All MCC student organizations will be present to share information and answer questions.
The Spring Open House marks the beginning of the MCC's spring programming. Upcoming events include Black Excellence Brunch, Roll with Soul, Galentine's Day, Rocky's Birthday Bash and Taste of Africa & Caribbean.
