WIU Piano Festival 2026 Guest Recital

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the WIU Piano Festival 2026 Guest Recital, featuring Ilia Radoslavov, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
WIU piano students will have the opportunity to perform for Ilia Radoslavov during a masterclass at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27. Radoslavov is currently a professor of Music and Head of the Piano Area at Illinois Wesleyan University.
The 2026 WIU Piano Festival is made possible by the generous support of Professor Emerita Hyung Ja Kim.
The recital program will include:
Piano Sonata No. 14 in C Minor, K. 457 - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791)
I. Molto allegro
II. Adagio
III. Allegro assai
Piano Sonata No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 10, No. 1 - Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)
I. Allegro molto e con brio
II. Adagio molto
III. Finale: Prestissimo
INTERMISSION
Piano Sonata NO. 19 in C Minor, D. 958 - Franz Schubert
I. Allego (1797–1828)
II. Adagio
III. Menuetto: Allegro – Trio
IV. Allegro
The performance is free and open to the public with general seating.
