WIU School of Music Winter Choral Concert and Graduate Recital

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a combined Winter Choral Concert and Graduate Conducting Recital at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 6, in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The Winter Choral Concert will be performed by Western Illinois University Concert Choir and Chambers Singers, under the direction of Professor Jason Hawkins, with graduate conductor Kazin Cole and collaborative pianist Paul Casiano.

Second-year graduate student in choral conducting, Tyler Demaree, will be conducting his graduate recital program, entitled "The Place, Our Home," with the Western Illinois Chamber Singers and University singers, featuring guest musicians, soloists, and collaborative pianist Professor Po-Chuan Chiang.
