WIU to host R.A.D. Women's Self-Defense training in April

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University will host R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) Women's Self-Defense Training in April, offering participants practical skills and confidence through a comprehensive 12-hour program.
The free training will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday Arpil 7, through Thursday, April 16. All sessions will be held in Corbin E classroom 1032.
The event is hosted by WIU Office of Public Safety (OPS), the R.A.D. Women's program is a nationally recognized self-defense course designed to provide participants with real-world techniques through hands-on practical training. The course is organized through the R.A.D. program and led by experienced instructors in a supported and empowering environment.
Participants who complete the course are eligible for the lifetime return-and-practice policy, allowing them to retake the training at no cost anywhere the program is offered worldwide.
