WIU Pride Fest 2026: Celebration of Unity and Expression

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University LGBT*QA Resource Center is excited to announce Pride Fest 2026, taking place from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, May 2, at the Multicultural Center (MCC) Lawn & Parking Lot.
The year's theme, "Fabric of Freedom", celebrates individuality, unity and the diverse identities that make up the WIU community. The event is open to all WIU students, faculty, staff and community members, regardless of race, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability or age.
Attendees can look forward to an engaging afternoon featuring food, interactive activities, a photo booth and live entertainment, including a vibrant drag show. Whether attending the performance, the community atmosphere or the activities, Pride Fest offers something for everyone.
This event aims to create a welcoming space where everyone can come together to celebrate pride, expression and community.
