Rock the Bald Event to Support Childhood Cancer Research April 12

MACOMB, IL. — The St. Baldrick's Foundation will host the "Rock the Bald" event from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, April 12, at Western Illinois University – University Union in the Lamoine Room.

The event is part of the foundation's efforts to fund childhood cancer research, bringing participants together to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer.

As of the latest update, the event has raised $1,681 toward its $5,000 fundraising goal.

Participants and supporters may contribute through donations, fundraising or event participation. Proceeds support research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children diagnosed with cancer.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is one of the largest private funders of childhood cancer research grants and is currently marking 25 years of fundraising efforts.
