2026 Veterans Leadership Award Nominations

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University Veterans Resource Center invites the campus community to honor military-affiliated students and those who support them by submitting a nomination for the 2026 Veterans Leadership Awards. These awards celebrate individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, academic excellence and strong commitment to service.

The nominees who embody leadership through their actions, whether by volunteering, participating in events, supporting fellow veterans or fostering a positive and encouraging environment within the WIU community.

Additionally, all are asked to consider nominating faculty members, staff or departments for awards who have made a meaningful contribution to supporting military-affiliated students.
