Iversen Named Director of Health Services

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University is pleased to name Tracy Iversen as the new director of Health Services, effective June 1.
Iversen brings a wealth of local experience to the position, serving as a registered nurse at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb for five years and most recently, as a mental health nurse practitioner at Graham Health Services in Macomb since April 2024.
"We are pleased to welcome Tracy as our new Director of Health Services," Samantha Klingler, assistant vice president for Student Success and Wellness said. "In this role, she will lead both Beu Health Center and the University Counseling Center, strengthening our commitment to holistic student care and wellness."
Her work has a proven track record of demonstrating adaptability and creativity in fast-paced environments. She has experience providing crisis intervention services for patients as well as developing strong therapeutic alliances with patients.
In the role, Iversen will provide administrative oversight to the Beu Health Center and University Counseling Center as well as assess and treat mental health concerns of college students.
