Macomb Fireworks to be Held at WIU

MACOMB, IL - - The annual Independence Day fireworks in Macomb will be held at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 4 at Vince Grady Field on the Western Illinois University campus.

The community is invited to spectate from Q-Lot or Vince Grady Field in the roped off area near the soccer field, on the north side of campus along University Drive. Gates open at 7 p.m., and festivities will feature food trucks, a performance from the Macomb Municipal Band and conclude with fireworks beginning at approximately 9 p.m.

In case of rain, the fireworks event will take place on Sunday, July 5.
