OSE to Host Rocky After Dark Tonight!

MACOMB, IL - - Rocky After Dark returns in 2026 as the Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement (OSE) will host a fun evening of events, food and attractions from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 at Hanson Field to celebrate the new semester.

Rocky After Dark is a staple of Move-in Weekend, giving students the opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet new people on campus and set the tone for the new academic year. At 7 p.m. OSE will announce the artist that will perform at the Westfest Homecoming concert.

The event will feature free food, along with activities for all students with a valid WIU student ID.

Students can also begin earning Purple & Gold points, as the program returns for its second year. Participants can earn 25 points for attending, which can later be redeemed for prizes through OSE.
