WIU MCC Invites Community to Big Picture Picnic on Friday

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University LGBT*QA Resource Center welcomes students, faculty, staff and community members to its annual Big Picture Picnic, happening 2-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, on the Multicultural Center (MCC) lawn. A group photo will be taken in front of the Multicultural Center at 3:30 p.m.

The picnic is a chance to relax, meet new people and celebrate the spirit of pride together. Guests can look forward to food and games, along with the special group photo at 3:30 p.m. that will be displayed in the LGBT*QA Resource Center as a symbol of unity and support.

The LGBT*QA Resource Center provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all sexualities and gender identities/expressions, while connecting students to resources, support and programming that encourage growth and belonging.

Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend and be part of the celebration.
