Gravity to Bring Powerhouse Broadway Vocals to WIU Goldfarb Center

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - -Three West End divas known for portraying Elphaba in Wicked will take the stage at Western Illinois University's Goldfarb Center for the Performing Arts at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, as part of the 2026-27 "A Season of Joy" performance series.

"Gravity" celebrates the greatest female voices of Broadway and beyond, featuring powerhouse vocals, dynamic performances and thrilling harmonies from three accomplished performers.

The performance will showcase music from some of Broadway's most beloved productions while highlighting the vocal talent and theatrical experience of the three performers, each of whom has taken on the iconic role of Elphaba in Wicked on London's West End.

"Gravity" is part of the Goldfarb Center's 2026-27 season, "A Season of Joy," which brings a variety of live performances to the WIU campus.

The Goldfarb Center is a LEED Silver-certified facility, recognizing the building's sustainable design and construction.
