President's Holiday Letter

Western Illinois University Faculty, Staff and Students:
The winter holidays are a time to celebrate all that we should be thankful for and not take for granted. I want to encourage the entire University community to consider the successes and opportunities we have enjoyed this past year despite all of the challenges.
Elaine and I, as well as our children, appreciate the friends and colleagues we have met since joining the Western Illinois University community. During this holiday season we want to express our appreciation to the campus and community for your support and assistance.
I am honored to serve as the president of this outstanding university and I look forward to the holiday season at Western. Elaine and I would like to invite all faculty, staff, students and community members to join us for a holiday open house at the University Residence from 3-6 p.m Wednesday, Dec. 3. We hope to see you all there.
