April Civil Service Employee of the Month Connie Scarbrough

MACOMB, IL – The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at Western Illinois University is pleased to announce that Connie Scarbrough, account technician II in the Foundation Office, was selected as the April Civil Service Employee of the Month.

According to her nominators, “Connie can always be counted on to quickly volunteer to help other staff members when needed regardless of her already heavy workload. She is very dependable and one can always be confident that Connie will carry through to completion in a timely and competent manner any duties assigned.”

Scarbrough’s nominators also added that her work has a direct impact on the relationship of the University’s fundraising division. “She exhibits excellent customer service skills when working with constituents and is gracious to the students and parents she comes in contact with.”

Scarbrough began working at Western in 1995.

“Connie is to be commended for going above and beyond the call of duty daily,” said Janet Koll, CSEC public relations officer.
