2nd Annual Donna Phillips Memorial 5K Run/Dog Walk April 16 at Hanson Field

MACOMB, IL -- Provide your pooch with a fun day of walking and get out and get some exercise for a good cause during the Second Annual Donna Phillips Memorial 5K Fun Run/Dog Walk. Sponsored by the Western Illinois University Department of Kinesiology, this year's 5K Fun Run/Dog Walk is slated to start at 9 a.m. (check in) Saturday, April 16 at WIU's Hanson Field on the Macomb campus. The 5K Fun Run starts at 9:30 a.m. and the dog walk starts at 10 a.m.
The entry fee per person (with dog) is $25 and includes a free, official t-shirt and water bottle if the fee is received on or before Friday, April 1. (After April 1, the registration fee will still be $25 but it will not include the t-shirt or water bottle.) All money raised will be donated to the Donna S. Phillips Scholarship Endowment and to the kinesiology department's student organizations.
