Macomb Jr. Golf Camp June 4-7

MACOMB, IL -- It's almost summer time, and that means lining up activities to keep the kids from exclaiming "we're bored!"
The 17th annual Macomb Area Junior Golf Association Junior Golf Camp will be held from 12:30-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 4-7 at the Western Illinois University Harry Mussatto Golf Course, 1215 Tower Rd., Macomb.
The camp, which is for students in fourth grade through high school, is led by Mel Blasi
WIU men's golf coach and director of golf; Lia Biehl Lukkarinen, Pro Golf Association (PGA) and Ladies PGA professional and WIU women's golf coach; Gary Sutton, PGA professional, Macomb Country Club; and Dan Torrance, PGA professional, Gold Hills Golf Course, along with college and high school golf team members.
The $45 entry fee (two or more students from same family, $35 each) includes a T-shirt, souvenir packet, rule book, refreshments and a camp picture. Send checks, payable to the Macomb Area Junior Golf Association, along with participant(s) name, phone number, address (include city), age, grade in school (Fall 2012), T-shirt size, gender, number of years in camp and e-mail, to the Harry Mussatto Golf Course, 1215 Tower Rd., Macomb, IL 61455. The deadline to register is Thursday, May 31.
