10:05 a.m.: Formal Program Begins

  • Welcome and Kick-off
  • Overview of program
  • Current WIU students will offer their experience

10:45 - 11:45 a.m.: Academic Breakouts 

  • Meet with staff from your academic program and college

11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch, Housing and Campus Tour

  • Enjoy lunch in one of our dining centers, along with a tour of a residence hall room and a campus tour

1:30- 3:00 p.m.: Things you can do before you GO!

  • Understanding Financial Aid & Scholarships (Freshman students)
  • Understanding Credit Transfer, Financial Aid & Scholarships (Transfer students)
  • Meet 1:1 with an Admissions Counselor 
  • Meet 1:1 with a current student
  • Submit your WIU application
  • Get your WIU merch at the Bookstore 
  • Pick up a free WIU T-shirt! 

3:00 p.m.: Official Program End
