About Me

I believe strongly in the unique role and opportunity school counselors have in creating meaningful change within schools and communities. Although I have experience working with a wide variety of students in K-12 settings, I am especially passionate about working with middle and high school students. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (ID), a Certified School Counselor (WA), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). My research and professional interests include leadership and advocacy in school counseling, school counselor professional identity and professional advocacy issues, and cultivating trauma-informed schools.
