Western Illinois University is an institution that has excelled in educating and preparing our alumni for success. We are proud of the fact that many of our more than 100,000 alumni have been publicly recognized nationally for their outstanding accomplishments.

Our mission: The Western Illinois University Alumni Association shall promote a lifelong relationship of its members with Western Illinois University through communication, service, programming, advocacy, leadership and giving.

The combination of WIU’s stellar faculty who provide a caring and supportive learning environment with an exceptional academic curriculum, have well prepared Western’s alumni in meaningful careers in a broad range of occupational endeavors. The Alumni Association takes great pride in recognizing excellence within our alumni.
