Management and Marketing Internship Process

  1. Read the Internship Program Information.
  2. Verify that you have fulfilled the prerequisites (MBA students will need to talk to their academic advisor to ensure prerequisites are met for graduate level internships).
    • HRM 400, Human Resource Management Internship
      • Human Resource Management major
      • Junior Standing
      • Completed HRM 353 with a B- or higher
      • 2.0 GPA
    • MGT 400, Management Internship
      • Management or Human Resource Management major or minor
      • Junior Standing
    • MKTG 400, Marketing Internship
      • Marketing major
      • Junior Standing
      • Completed 9 s.h. of Marketing coursework
      • 2.75 GPA
    • SCM 400, Supply Chain Management Internship
      • Supply Chain Management major or minor
      • Completion of SCM 211 with a grade of "C" or higher
      • BCOM 320 or COMM 241
      • 2.0 GPA
    • Graduate Internships (HRM, MGT, MKTG, SCM
      • Please contact your graduate advisor for specific requirements
  1. Gather the appropriate information needed to complete the application.
    • Your major, minor (if applicable), and cumulative GPAs.
    • The internship firm's address, city, state, and zip.
    • The internship supervisor's name, phone, and e-mail.
    • The anticipated start date and end date.
    • Your resume as a doc, docx, or pdf file.
    • Optional - A document containing anticipated activities during the internship.
      These activities should be arrived at in joint conference with your supervisor.
  2. Complete the Online Internship Application
  3. Upon email approval from the Management and Marketing Department Chair, submit signed copies of the following forms:
