  • Responsibilities:

    The Illinois Retired Officer Concealed Carry (IROCC) Program Assistant typically:

    1. Assists in the overall data entry and documentation of an IROCC application.
    2. Ensures all policies and procedures are followed for review and issuance of IROCC card.
    3. Monitors, provides and maintains all records, files and documents per guidelines.
    4. Answers phone calls and emails related to the program.
    5. Responsible for data collection, storage, input and certification documentation for the program.
    6. Conducts post reviews of all rules, regulations and law updates to program.
    7. Maintains and reviews all records to ensure the program activities comply with all statutory, regulatory, and administrative requirements.
  • Required Qualifications:

    CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER:

    1. Bachelor’s degree
    2. At least three (3) years of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.

    *Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1 year) of work experience.

  • Starting Salary: $17.44/hour
