Graduation List, Spring 2017

A total of 1,401 students earned academic degrees or post-baccalaureate certificates after the Spring 2017 semester at Western Illinois University. Of these, 170 graduates' primary attendance site was the WIU-Quad Cities campus.

Bachelor's degrees were awarded to 1,062 graduates.

Academic distinction was awarded to baccalaureate graduates who achieved high grade point averages. This includes: Summa Cum Laude, 3.90 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale; Magna Cum Laude, 3.75–3.89 GPA; and Cum Laude, 3.6–3.74 GPA.

Master's degrees were earned by 314 graduates; two individuals earned their doctorate degrees in educational leadership. Twenty-three individuals earned post-baccalaureate certificates.

Dean's List, Spring 2017

A total of 1,404 undergraduate students enrolled at Western Illinois University were named to the 2017 Spring Dean's List. The total includes 99 students at the WIU-Quad Cities Campus.

To receive this award, an undergraduate student must earn at least a 3.6 grade point average on a scale of 4.0, which equals an A in a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded courses; pass-fail hours are not counted (e.g., student teaching, internships).

Students earning Dean's List honors are listed by Illinois counties, cities and towns; as well as other states/towns and other nations.
