WIU's Graduation List, Spring 2013
More than 1,550 students earned academic degrees after the 2013 Spring semester at Western Illinois University. Of these, nearly 170 graduates' primary attendance site was the WIU-Quad Cities campus.
Bachelor's degrees were awarded to 1,251 graduates.
Academic distinction was awarded to baccalaureate graduates who achieved high grade point averages. This includes: Summa Cum Laude, 3.90 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale; Magna Cum Laude, 3.75 to 3.89 GPA; and Cum Laude, 3.6 to 3.74 GPA.
Master's degrees were earned by more than 300 graduates. Thirty-five individuals earned post-baccalaureate certificates and one Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) degree was granted.
WIU's Dean's List, Spring 2013
More than 1,600 undergraduate students enrolled at Western Illinois University were named to the 2013 Spring Dean's List. The number includes some 90 students at WIU-Quad Cities.
To receive this award, an undergraduate student must earn at least a 3.6 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 equals an A in a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded courses; pass-fail hours are not counted (i.e. student teaching, internships).
Students earning Dean's List honors are listed by Illinois counties, cities and towns; as well as other states/towns and other nations.
