WIU's Graduation List, Spring 2014
More than 1,460 students earned academic degrees after the Spring 2014 semester at Western Illinois University. Of these, nearly 150 graduates' primary attendance site was the WIU-Quad Cities campus.
Bachelor's degrees were awarded to 1,175 graduates.
Academic distinction was awarded to baccalaureate graduates who achieved high grade point averages. This includes: Summa Cum Laude, 3.90 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale; Magna Cum Laude, 3.75 to 3.89 GPA; and Cum Laude, 3.6 to 3.74 GPA.
Master's degrees were earned by more than 285 graduates. Thirty-four individuals earned post-baccalaureate certificates.
WIU's Dean's List, Spring 2014
More than 1,540 undergraduate students enrolled at Western Illinois University were named to the 2014 Spring Dean's List. The number includes 120 students at WIU-Quad Cities.
To receive this award, an undergraduate student must earn at least a 3.6 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 equals an A in a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded courses; pass-fail hours are not counted (i.e. student teaching, internships).
Students earning Dean's List honors are listed by Illinois counties, cities and towns; as well as other states/towns and other nations.
