Rialto to Kick Off Film Series Oct. 8

MACOMB, IL – The fall installment of the Film Series begins Oct. 8 and runs through mid-November at the Rialto Cinemas in Macomb.

The films will be run on Monday and Tuesday nights. Monday shows will begin at 7:05 p.m. and 9:25 p.m. and Tuesday shows will begin at noon, 2:20 p.m. and 4:50 p.m.

The films include:

  • Oct. 8-9: "Moonrise Kingdom," a quirky comedy starring Bill Murray, Bruce Willis and Edward Norton and directed by Wes Anderson. (PG13)
  • Oct. 15-16: "The Intouchables," a French heartwarmer about a relationship between a rich quadriplegic and his young caretaker. (R)
  • Oct. 22-23: "Cosmopolis," starring Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche and directed by David Cronenberg. (R)
  • Oct. 29-30: "Robot and Frank," a comedy starring Frank Langella. (PG13)
  • Nov. 5-6: "Elana," a Russian drama about a woman's hard decisions to help her family. (NR)
  • Nov. 12-13: "Beasts of the Southern Wild," a critically acclaimed fantasy about a 6-year-old girl living in a community in the southern bayou. (PG13)
