"Money Matters" Brown Bag Series Set for Wednesdays in April

MACOMB, IL – April is National Financial Literacy Month, and to help Western Illinois University students and members of the WIU community learn more about the importance of managing personal finances, the WIU Financial Aid Office is sponsoring the brown bag series, "Money Matters" every Wednesday in April.

The sessions are slated to start at 5:30 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring their dinner meals. Each session will be held in the Corbin Hall electronic classroom (room 1032).

Sessions include:

  • April 3 – Strategic Spending
  • April 10 – Make Your Money Work
  • April 17 – The Cost of Credit
  • April 24 – Beyond the Paycheck
