MACOMB, IL -- To assist with scholarship funding at Western Illinois University, the WIU Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) has launched the campaign, "Moving Rocky for Scholarships."

A cutout of Col. Rock III (aka Rocky) will move from office to office when employees make a contribution to the Civil Service Employees Council Scholarship Fund.
Col. Rock will reside in an office for one week for a $25 donation ($50-two weeks; $75-three weeks; and $100-one month). Rocky's visits will be chronicled at wiu.edu/csec and on the WIU Civil Service Employees Council Facebook page (http://tinyurl.com/mxbjtla).

Each year, the CSEC awards up to nine $1,000 scholarships and up to 15 $100 book awards to WIU civil service employees' dependents attending Western. Since 1981, more than $160,000 in scholarships, and more than $18,000 in book awards, have been awarded. The endowment requires approximately $225,00 to fully fund scholarships offered each year.
