Law Enforcement Career Fair at WIU Sept. 17

MACOMB, IL – Individuals interested in employment or internship opportunities in law enforcement are encouraged to attend the annual Western Illinois University Law Enforcement and Justice Administration (LEJA) Career Fair from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 in the University Union Grand Ballroom. The fair is open free to students, alumni and the public.

More than 50 agencies will be recruiting for both full-time employment and for internships.

Students from all majors are welcome to attend the fair. Some agencies may be interested in interviewing students with backgrounds in psychology, sociology, social work, natural resources, as well as students with other majors and/or minors.

Staff members from the WIU Career Development Center encourage attendees to dress professionally, bring multiple résumé copies and take the opportunity to learn about the organizations and/or agencies attending the fair. The LEJA Career Fair is co-sponsored by the WIU Career Development Center and the School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration.
