Sotto Voce Quartet to Perform at WIU

MACOMB, IL – The Sotto Voce Quartet will perform Sunday, Oct. 20 in the Western Illinois University COFAC Recital Hall.

The concert, open free to the public, will feature original compositions from the quartet's forthcoming CD, "Take This Hammer."

The ensemble travels throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Macomb native, Mark Carlson, is part of the quartet and will perform on euphonium. Carlson currently lives in Emmitsburg, MO, and directs the instrumental ensembles and teaches courses in music and the humanities at Mount St. Mary's University.

Sotto Voce has three recordings on the Summit Records label.
