Phi Beta Delta Second Annual Scholarship Dinner Scheduled for Nov 9

MACOMB, IL - ---- The Western Illinois University Phi Beta Delta chapter is holding its second annual scholarship dinner at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at the American Legion, 221 E. Washington St. in Macomb.
Phi Beta Delta is the international honor society at WIU. The focus this year is on European cuisine and this will be featured in the meal. There will be a silent auction of international items from various countries. The event will have multicultural entertainment from one of the University's Japanese alumni.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are on sale at Citizens Bank, 127 South Side Square in Macomb, or at the Center of International Studies on the third floor of Memorial Hall. Student tickets are $15 if purchased in advance ($20 at the door) and non-student tickets are $20 ($25 at the door). Children under age 12 will be admitted free.
